About Us

Impact Services is a National Organisation specialising in the provision of Security Personnel, working with an impressive list of clients in a wide array of sectors and now employing over 300 staff across the country.

The services developed by the company are as diverse as the customers it serves, with bespoke solutions that are developed to meet the needs of individual organisations and the sectors they operate in. These services fall into four broad sectors.

Corporate Sector

The Corporate Sector demands smart, alert security personnel to manage all aspects of security, whilst maintaining excellent customer service and front of house profile. Impact service a range of clients from International Banks to high security Research and Development Centres.

Manufacturing Sector

The manufacturing sector places unique demands on a security provider, where the role of staff goes beyond normal security duties to accommodate a full range of plant protection services. Impact works with a range of customers, from the food and drinks sector through to the largest manufacturer of Laminate flooring in the UK. The Company has responded to the demands of the market with the development of bespoke services.

Logistics Sector

Impact Services is a market leader in the logistics and transport arena. Working throughout the UK, for a number of major providers. These services seek to protect people and property whilst maintaining the fast moving environment necessary to ensure the uninterrupted flow of goods and products around the UK.

Retail Sector

Impact Services works throughout the UK for some of the biggest names on the high street and out of town retailers. The company has established a range of services that provide a safe and secure shopping environment, whilst deterring theft and supporting profit protection.

Stuart, has 15 years experience within the Manned Security Sector, and managed a large Business Centre for a National Supplier before taking up his new role as Finance Director, with Impact Services; Stuart has vast experience in Strategic Management and Financial and Business Accounting.

Alex Platt

Managing Director

Alex is a time served Electronics Engineer, who also has extensive Knowledge of Key holding and CCTV installation, Alex has managed security personnel in the leisure sector for the past 16 years, Alex is also a qualified SITO / SIA Trainer.

We now believe that this additional resource places us in the forefront as a National supplier, as our Senior Managers have experience in all aspects of the Security industry. Whether that solution is based on Retail Security, Static guarding, mobile patrols, alarm attendance or a combination of each, you can rest assured that we will tailor a solution that will protect your staff and your property.

Frank Jackson

Operations Director

My role is to oversee both the operational aspect of the business whilst managing the growth of the business. I have been involved in security for 22 years, I first got involved in the industry providing physical security solutions for the MOD, I joined Impact Services in 2004, after having worked for the fourth largest security company in the world as Business Manager for 9 years.

My background is security operations, and I looked after a portfolio of National Account Customers, including but not limited to:

  • Littlewoods Logistics & Retail
  • O2 Corporate and strategic
  • T – Mobile
  • Security Consultancy for BNFL

Unlike most of our competitors we do not have a sales team, our organisation has a unique and innovative approach in that we all work as a team to encourage customers to choose Impact security solutions, we then consolidate and focus all our efforts on service delivery, each of our account managers, will be responsible for outlining our scope of services, implementation of the contract, and ensuring service delivery exceeds customer expectations.
