I just wanted to write to you and thank you all for your hard work and your amazing attitude during these difficult times.
These are by no means ordinary circumstances and society is a strange place at the moment with a lot of unknowns. But as a team we have taken those challenges on and we have adapted.
As you will be aware some sites have had to cease working which has impacted on our services and some sites have increased their requirements. We will continue to work closely with our customers to try and accommodate their needs through these difficult times. As the coronavirus pandemic progresses, so does our response and I want to keep you all informed about the things we’re doing to look after our customers and staff.
In line with guidance from the UK government, we are continuously reviewing our processes and we have implemented appropriate measures to ensure the continuity of our services to both our customers and staff.
During the last two weeks, we’ve made
the transition to becoming a business where majority of head office staff are
working from home. We have mobilised systems, improved workflow and taken steps
to ensure that our business is resilient and remains fully operational.
All our area managers are still in the field when necessary and are here to
Some of our office admin staff are working from working from home and this presents its own challenges, but we’re supporting our people to ensure they have everything they need to continue to serve you and remain fully functional. Now more than ever, we’re committed to supporting you. Our people are working tirelessly to assist you via our still fully manned 24/7 control room. Despite most staff working remotely, you’ll still receive the same level of support as you have had before. Please understand that we can still support all your needs and we are overcoming any challenges.
I thank you to all our staff that are still servicing many contacts as per usual, please make sure you are following the government guidelines and staying safe. We are here to support and advise you so if you have any queries please speak to your area manager and they will do everything they can as a business to support you.
We are signing up to the Government Coronavirus Staff retention scheme, but it is not available till the end of April. We will be notifying all staff of their eligibility as soon as possible. We have looked to redeploy some staff as some sites have been affected by the lockdown and we will continue to do so as customers’ requirements change. I thank you for your understanding and attitude in this respect.
On behalf of everyone at Impact Services, we send our best wishes to you and your family. Please continue to follow the government’s guidelines and remain safe.
Thank you for all your hard work and commitment.
